Product Description
The APV W double mechanical seal is an aftermarket replacement sealing solution for selected APV W / World centrifugal pumps equipped with flushed seal chambers. The seal is available in 25 mm and 35 mm shaft configurations and is intended for double-seal pump arrangements.
This seal family is commonly cross-referenced to AES T0WD / T0WDU, Vulcan Type 16.DOUB and Flowserve Pac-Seal AWD. The supplied APV-04 / 160A design is intended for maintenance and replacement of compatible APV W pump seal arrangements.
The APV W-series pump family includes multiple pump sizes using either 25 mm or 35 mm shaft seal configurations. Because the correct seal size depends on the pump model and existing flushed seal arrangement, the complete pump designation should be checked before ordering.
Seal-face materials can include carbon, silicon carbide or tungsten carbide, with EPDM or other elastomer options and stainless-steel metal components according to the supplied configuration and process requirements.
