Product Description
The APV V2 Type 293 mechanical seal is an aftermarket replacement seal for selected APV / SPX V² sanitary centrifugal pump applications. The V² pump family includes 4V2, 6V2 and 8V2 models used in sanitary and industrial fluid-handling systems.
APV V² centrifugal pumps are available with different mechanical seal arrangements according to the process requirements. For this reason, the pump model alone should not be used as the final basis for selecting a replacement seal. The existing seal configuration and dimensions should also be verified.
The Type 293 replacement seal shown on this page is intended for selected APV V2 applications using a compatible single mechanical seal arrangement. Before ordering, please provide the complete pump model, pump nameplate and clear photos or measurements of the existing seal.
APV V² pumps are commonly used in sanitary applications including food processing, dairy, beverage, brewing, pharmaceutical and compatible chemical processing. Seal-face and elastomer materials should therefore be selected according to the pumped medium, cleaning process and operating conditions.
