Single and Double Cartridge Seal Options

Single cartridge mechanical seal:
A pre-assembled unit with one pair of sealing faces. See our

for a single-cartridge example. Match the dimensions and materials to your
existing installation.

Double cartridge mechanical seal:
An assembly with two pairs of sealing faces. See our

for a pump-specific example. Confirm the mounting and lubrication
arrangement; double cartridge designs are not universally interchangeable.

How to Confirm the Correct Replacement

• Pump and seal identification:
  Full pump model, seal reference and clear photos of the old assembly.
• Installation dimensions:
  Shaft or sleeve diameter, gland dimensions, bolt pattern and available
  axial space.
• Materials and duty:
  Face and elastomer materials, pumped liquid, solids, temperature,
  seal-chamber pressure and speed.
• Seal arrangement:
  Assembly drawing and any required flush, quench, oil-chamber, buffer or
  barrier-fluid details. Requirements depend on the specific design.

A matching shaft diameter alone does not establish compatibility.
Send your seal photos, dimensions and required quantity for matching and a quotation.
An old seal sample can also assist identification.
