Product Description
BT-AR is a compact elastomer-bellows seal family commonly associated with high-volume water-pump applications. Hong Teng supplies replacement BT-AR-type seals for selected EagleBurgmann-compatible installations in domestic, commercial and light-industrial pumping equipment.
The short axial arrangement makes the family useful where installation space is limited. Even so, correct replacement depends on more than the shaft size. The rotating unit, working length, stationary-seat type and outside diameter should be compared with the old seal. Metric and imperial versions may also look very similar, so dimension checking is important.
For clean water and circulation duties, common carbon/ceramic or carbon/silicon-carbide combinations may be used depending on the pump and service. Swimming-pool, whirlpool or chemically treated water can require different elastomer and face selections because disinfectants and water chemistry affect seal life. Hong Teng can supply selected material combinations after the application is reviewed. EagleBurgmann and BT-AR references are used only to identify compatible applications. The supplied seal is an independently manufactured Hong Teng replacement and is not represented as an original EagleBurgmann product.
