Product Description

The H12N is a balanced pusher mechanical seal with a conical spring and is intended for stepped-shaft pump arrangements. Hong Teng supplies replacement H12N-type seals for selected EagleBurgmann-compatible applications in water, chemical and general process equipment. Its balanced geometry makes it suitable for duties where a conventional unbalanced conical-spring seal may not be appropriate.

Because torque is transmitted through the conical spring, the direction of rotation must be checked before installation. A seal that is dimensionally correct but uses the wrong spring winding can loosen or fail in service. The shaft step, overall installed length, stationary-seat dimensions and material combination should also be verified.

H12N-type replacements can be supplied with different face and elastomer materials depending on the fluid. Clean water service may use conventional material combinations, while chemical, abrasive or hotter media may require upgraded faces and elastomers. Customers should provide pump details, old-seal photos or measured dimensions where possible. Hong Teng manufactures the replacement independently; EagleBurgmann and H12N references are used only for compatibility identification and do not represent original-manufacturer supply.
