Product Description
The M3N is a compact pusher-style mechanical seal widely used in conventional centrifugal and utility pump arrangements. Hong Teng supplies an independently manufactured replacement for selected EagleBurgmann M3N-type applications where the original installation dimensions and operating conditions have been confirmed. Its rotating conical-spring arrangement provides a simple drive method and makes the seal suitable for many general pump-repair situations.
For replacement work, the shaft diameter alone is not enough to identify the correct seal. The complete working length, stationary-seat dimensions, spring direction, face-material combination and elastomer must also be checked. This is especially important because seals with a similar outward appearance can use different seats, spring winding directions or installation lengths.
Hong Teng can provide different face and elastomer combinations according to the pumped medium. For water service, common carbon/ceramic combinations may be suitable, while more demanding chemical or abrasive duties may require silicon carbide or other upgraded materials. Final suitability should always be confirmed from the actual pump, old seal and operating conditions. EagleBurgmann and M3N references are used only to identify compatible applications; the product is not represented as an original EagleBurgmann seal.
