Product Description

MG12 belongs to the MG-series elastomer-bellows family and is closely related to the MG1 design concept. Hong Teng supplies replacement MG12-type seals for selected EagleBurgmann-compatible applications where the extended bellows-tail arrangement and corresponding installation length are required.

Although MG1, MG12 and MG13 can look similar, they should not be treated as interchangeable without measurement. The working length and stationary-seat combination are key differences, so the complete old seal should be measured before ordering. Shaft diameter, bellows material, rotating-face dimensions and seat geometry should also be checked.

The elastomer bellows provides secondary sealing and axial flexibility while the rotating face runs against the stationary seat. Material selection depends on the application: standard water service may use conventional face materials, while abrasive or chemically aggressive media can require silicon carbide or upgraded elastomers. Hong Teng can manufacture the replacement in selected combinations after the original dimensions are verified. EagleBurgmann and MG12 references are used only for compatible-application identification. The replacement is independently manufactured by Hong Teng and is not represented as an original EagleBurgmann product.
