Product Description

MG13 is another MG-series elastomer-bellows configuration developed around the MG1 design concept but with a different fitting-length arrangement. Hong Teng manufactures replacement MG13-type seals for selected EagleBurgmann-compatible pump applications where the corresponding working length and seat geometry have been confirmed.

The most common identification mistake is assuming that MG1, MG12 and MG13 are identical because their rotating components appear similar. In practice, the installation length and stationary-seat combination can be different. For that reason, the complete seal assembly should be measured before replacement, including shaft diameter, rotating-unit length, seat outside diameter, seat thickness and overall fitted length.

Different face and elastomer combinations can be supplied to suit water, process liquids or more demanding industrial service. Silicon-carbide faces may be selected for abrasive or harder-duty conditions, while elastomer choice should be based on fluid compatibility and temperature. Hong Teng can review photos and measurements before manufacture or shipment. EagleBurgmann and MG13 references are used only to identify compatible applications; this replacement seal is independently manufactured by Hong Teng.
